We offer several different types of riding lessons, in both English & Western disciplines.  Beginners to Advanced riders welcomed.  Lessons can be taken on your horse (small haul in fee applicable) or on one of our experienced school horses.             

 Riding Lessons:

$35.00 per private lesson for 1 hour lesson on a personal horse

$40.00 per private lesson on a school horse

 

Individual Horse Training Sessions:

$45.00 per session

 

Basic Riding Lessons

Students will learn about horsemanship.  Body parts of a horse, grooming, proper handling of the horse, mounting, dismounting, correct body position, walking, and trotting.

Beginner Intermediate

Students will learn correct body position when walking, trotting, posting while trotting, and cantering on a horse.  Students will also learn about proper equipement for riding.

Intermediate

Students will be expected to know all the information covered in Beginner and Beginner Intermediate classes.  Students will be introduced to jumping.  No higher than 18 inches.

Advanced

Students will be expected to know all the information covered in Beginner, Beginner Intermediate, and Intermediate classes.  Students will learn correct leads and lead changes while maintaining control during trotting and cantering.
